Default Switch off LIKE queries

Hi,

I've just purchased and installed the script (which is excellent by the way) and am testing it against a ~12Mb table with around ~3000 rows. I am beginning to see the script slow down (takes ~3 secs to run) and was wondering how I go about switching off LIKE queries to enhance performance. I know this will affect the result set.

Many thanks,
Andy

Hi, in the config file look for $common_word and set it to the number one. I'd be interested to know how this affects your search speed.

Thanks - just found it (I should learn to RTFM!). For your info the same search now executes in 0.2 secs. This script has saved me hours.... best $25 I've ever spent!

Thanks again,
Andy
