Searching Images
 

Hi There, Before I purchase, could you please tell me if images can be searched and displayed in the results? I am a php/mysql novice and don`t know what you mean when you say 'graphics can be displayed when PHP is GD enabled'.

Hi, tdSearch can search two or three text columns from a table: title, description, and optional keywords. tdSearch cannot search binary content such as images or PDFs. If you have the actual image filenames in a column, then the names can be searched and, with modification of the code, it is possible to display images in the search results. The graphics related to GD are those bars next to relevance in the search results.
